FinTech Valu closes sixth issuance in a securitised bond offering

Valu, bond offering, Buy-Now-Pay-Later, investment products, financial solutions, financial empowerment, FinTech news, B2Bpayments, B2C payments, FinTech Egypt, FinTech MENAValu, a MENA-based FinTech platform, has announced that it has closed its sixth securitised bond issuance. The EGP 922.3 million ($29.8 million) issuance is part of a short-term program that has been renewed and is backed by a receivables portfolio assigned to EFG Hermes’ Financial Group for Securitization, the issuance’s Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV).

Valu remains dedicated to its mission of making finance more accessible and inclusive, and this successful securitization marks another step toward achieving that goal. This transaction marks Valu’s third issuance this year, and the sixth concluded in partnership with EFG Hermes to date.

The FinTech company has successfully evolved from a Buy-Now-Pay-Later (BNPL) platform into a universal financial technology powerhouse. It plays a pivotal role in fostering financial empowerment and inclusivity within the market, extending its services to include investment products, an instant cash redemption program, and savings solutions through five unique verticals: U, Business, Akeed, Flip, and Invest.
