Finfra & CareNow partner to streamline healthcare payments in Indonesia
By Delisha Fernandes
Finfra, an Indonesia-based lending infrastructure provider with its licensed peer-to-peer lending affiliate Danabijak, has partnered with the HealthTech platform CareNow.
This partnership enabled the full integration of Finfra’s Payment Solutions product into CareNow’s Indonesian platform. In expanding medical financing options for users, this integration directly bolsters CareNow’s overarching commitment to make healthcare more affordable and accessible to patients throughout Indonesia.
Markus Prommik, co-founder and CEO at Finfra, said, “This partnership demonstrates just how much businesses can achieve with Finfra’s fintech products. By handling everything related to regulatory compliance and making our white-labelled products as customisable as possible, we help companies not only save a huge amount of money and time but better court funding and inspire investor confidence. I’m so heartened by this partnership because I see it as the best of both worlds. Not only is it an asset to CareNow from a business investment and financial standpoint, it’s also a game changer for patients in need of medical care.”
Working together, Finfra adjusted its highly customisable and white-labelled product to meet CareNow’s specific needs. Instead of embarking on a years-long process, CareNow was able to roll out this essential new benefit to customers in a matter of weeks. Integrating with Finfra’s Payment Solutions product, CareNow received additional investments from venture capital firms and successfully applied to an accelerator program.
Andrew Soebagijo, Co-Founder & COO at CareNow Indonesia, said, “In the last year alone we’ve made huge strides in bringing hospitals, clinics, and medical distributors onto our platform to connect with patients and handle payments. We see this partnership and the addition of Finfra’s product as another major step forward in our mission to streamline healthcare access and financing across Indonesia. I’m so pleased with the successes this partnership has already yielded and for the patients it has already helped, and I’m excited to see it continue on all fronts.”
Finfra’s recognized expertise specific to credit scoring and risk management in the highly regulated Indonesia financial services sector was crucial to the success of this partnership. In addition, CareNow chose to partner with Finfra not only because of its technology and experienced team but also because Finfra’s affiliate Danabijak is licensed by Indonesia’s financial services authorities (OJK).
