Signzy expands global leadership team to fuel business growth

signzyBanking workflow automation platform Signzy, has appointed Sabir Shaikh as Vice President – Business Development (EMEA) to strengthen its leadership team and support the company’s expansion plans in new and developing markets. The announcement follows Signzy’s recent entry into UAE in strategic partnership with Dubai’s Seed Group. The AI start-up aims to triple its growth in the region by the end of fiscal 2022.

Shaikh’s appointment will power Signzy to build wider reach and visibility in Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), while also educating and empowering businesses in the region to automate back office operations and adopt frictionless on boarding services in a compliant and regulated manner.

As an accomplished marketing veteran with more than two decades of experience in building products and brands in emerging markets, Shaikh will drive the overall strategy, strengthen Signzy’s reach, and accelerate the company’s global business footprint.

Shaikh brings with him extensive industry knowledge, a sharp focus on creating winning business strategies, managing consumer and business-focused operations for blue chip and start-up companies.

In his most recent role, Shaikh was leading CleverTap’s Business Development in the Middle East, Turkey and Africa (META) region where he build the brand from scratch and positioned it among the top three preferred players in the GCC region. He has also worked with Netcore solutions, heading their ‘Transactional Emailing’ business globally.
