Mangopay, OVO Network, FinTech, B2B Payments, BNPL, Payment Infrastructure Provider, Rental Payments, UK, EuropeOVO Network, a specialist in high-end, self-catered chalets in the Alps, has selected Mangopay to streamline the end-to-end payment process for its holiday property rental services.

Mangopay will provide an optimised payment integration, tailored to the requirements of the chalet rental company, from the moment customers book their trip, to the confirmation of the holiday and the transfer of funds to the property owner’s bank account.

Through the partnership, Mangopay will automate guest payments directly to the property owners’ accounts, including fund requests from guests and managing the integration of third-party online travel agents for chalet bookings.

Guests can pay a deposit up to 18 months in advance to reserve a property, while owners can choose from a variety of cancellation policies. Once a booking is finalised, the remaining funds are collected from the guest and the complete booking value is made to the owner’s payment account.

Using Mangopay’s modular payment infrastructure, OVO Network has also introduced seamless split payments for trip fees to multiple parties including owners and property managers.

Commenting on the new partnership, Chris Thompson, Director of OVO Network, said, “From the very start of our journey, our focus has been on offering the highest standards, through exceptional properties, outstanding locations, and first-class facilities. This high-end experience begins at the point of booking, which is why we chose Mangopay to manage our payment process from start to finish. The flexibility of Mangopay’s technology to create an infrastructure that meets our specific needs, along with the high level of dedicated support they provide, have been transformational for us.”

Tristán Torres Velat, Director of Sales at Mangopay, added, “OVO Network’s focus on quality is evident throughout everything they do, so we are delighted to support them in applying these same high standards to the payment process for guests and owners. The travel industry brings a specific set of challenges when it comes to payments. Our modular and flexible infrastructure enables businesses in the sector to reduce the operational burden of the payments process, and easily create solutions with their own specific needs in mind.”
