Atlantic Money completes EU launch of foreign exchange services
By Gloria Methri
Atlantic Money has announced the completion of its launch in the European Union. The service is now officially available across 29 countries and allows users to send up to £/€1 million for a fixed fee of £/€3.
The completion of the EU launch follows its localised December roll-out across France, Italy, and Spain and only six months after receiving its official EU payment institution license from the National Bank of Belgium.
To further the availability of the service, Atlantic Money also launched its new Android app after initially being available for iOS only. Atlantic Money Android users will now be able to transfer up to one million pounds or euros for a fixed fee of £/€3, always at the current exchange rate. The company claims users can save up to 99% on transfers, compared to competitors Wise, PayPal, and Revolut.
Neeraj Baid, co-founder of Atlantic Money said, “We are excited to finish our EU expansion and the launch of our Android app. Over 50% of our visitors had requested Android so we’re happy to now be able to provide it. We have ambitious plans in terms of currency corridors and regional expansion for the year ahead and are excited at the prospect of extending both the benefits and the reach of our product.”
Besides the new Android app, Atlantic Money can be accessed via the iOS App Store. Starting today, new users can also register via the new web sign-up on the homepage.
