easyfood taps Ryft to streamline restaurant onboarding
By Gloria Methri
UK-based payment provider Ryft has announced a new partnership with easyFood, part of the easyGroup, to simplify restaurant onboarding and bring new franchise partners onto its system.
easyFood, a food delivery service company led by Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, selected the Ryft payment platform built for marketplaces to simplify the sign-up process it offers to new franchise partners.
As part of the agreement, Ryft has created a seamless onboarding flow for venues interested in joining easyFood. The new process has already been shown to reduce partner churn and is enabling potential new franchise businesses to successfully sign-up to the company’s service in a minutes.
Ryft says it has helped easyFood to bring scores of restaurants onto the platform in recent times, with thousands more expected to join in the coming months. By providing usage of its regulatory licenses, Ryft is “empowering easyFood to undertake this massive scaling objective without having to worry about the burden of compliance.”
In addition, Ryft has also helped to create a high converting payment flow for easyFood’s end-users. The new system has enabled easyFood to generate an increase in checkout conversions of 7% since being implemented.
easyFood and Ryft will now work together to find further synergies between their businesses as they explore future opportunities in this partnership. The two growing businesses share a collective ethos around reducing high fees and providing simple, flat rates to their users.
Speaking on the new partnership, Ryft co-founder and CEO Sadra Hosseini said, “Ryft is allowing easyFood to usher in a new era of cost-effective and fair food delivery for restaurants and takeaways, without having to worry about the regulatory burdens of that undertaking. We are enabling this exciting business to onboard new partners seamlessly as it looks to disrupt the hospitality industry and allow venues to keep more of the value of the order compared to their competitors.
Speaking on the agreement, Charanjit S. Purewal, easyFood’s COO said, “We have meticulously crafted our solution to be near perfection for the hospitality sector while offering a smooth and cost-effective experience for our valued customers.”
