emerchantpay partners with Rubean AG to launch SoftPOS solution
By Gloria Methri
UK-based payment service provider emerchantpay has partnered with German FinTech Rubean AG to launch a Software Point of Sales (SoftPOS) solution for Android devices.
This partnership will enable both brands to further strengthen their payment solutions for merchants and partners in regions across the UK and Europe. With this collaborative effort, emerchantpay’s partners can leverage the benefits of integrating PhonePOS with their existing Android applications.
The PhonePOS offering is ideal for various sectors, allowing businesses to accept card payments using Android devices without the need for additional hardware, thus enhancing customer experiences. It supports card payments, popular mobile wallets and high-value transactions that require a PIN.
Furthermore, the SoftPOS solution is of interest to many businesses due to the flexibility of the solution, low upfront costs and ease of use with a device they are already familiar with.
Jon Horddal, Chief Product Officer at emerchantpay, said, “SoftPOS is not just a payment solution, it is a leap forward for customer and merchant convenience. With this new solution, we are looking forward to contributing to the bright future of more flexible, scalable and customer-centric POS payments.”
The launch of the SoftPOS solution comes at a crucial time, aligning with the growing demand for such advancements ahead of the new year. The potential of SoftPOS to disrupt conventional card present payment models adds to the interest in this innovative solution.
Dr Hermann Geupel, CEO at Rubean AG, added, “We are excited to partner with emerchantpay and make on-the-go payments easier for businesses across the UK and Europe. Our shared vision for growth and commitment to customer excellence make this collaboration a perfect match. Together, we are enabling businesses to tap into the world of mobile payments with PhonePOS and reach new heights of growth.”
