Sintesi partners with Zwipe to offer biometric card solutions in Italy
By Gloria Methri
Sintesi, a provider of physical identity, time and attendance, and access technology, has partnered with biometric card expert Zwipe to offer an integrated solution to its large customer base in Italy.
The Italian-based company has launched an integrated access control solution using Zwipe biometric cards to validate the user’s identity both for physical and logical secure access control.
With technology like the Zwipe Access “biometric system-on-card” platform, Sintesi will showcase live enrolment of the users’ fingerprints and their authentication into the access control system and computer network.
According to Silvano Ferro, Founder and CEO of Sintesi, “Offering Zwipe’s biometric system-on-card technology will position us in the forefront of innovation by allowing deploying a complete multifactor authentication system at a much lower cost than alternative technologies while reducing risks and costs related to GDPR, as only the owner of the card as access to its biometric data.’’
“We are happy to partner with Sintesi, a leading company in physical access control and identification systems, with thousands of customers across Italy. Choosing Zwipe Access biometric system-on-card attests Sintesi’s commitment to continuous research in the field of new technologies to offer innovative solutions and cutting-edge products to their customers,” said Robert Puskaric, President and CEO of Zwipe.
Zwipe is a next-generation biometric card technology for payment, physical and logical access control as well as identification solutions. It offers customers and partners deep insight and frictionless solutions, ensuring a seamless user experience with its innovative biometric products and services. The company is headquartered in Oslo, Norway with a global presence.
Sintesi Srl was established in 1996 by individuals with years of experience in the design and implementation of time attendance and access control systems. Today, the company serves over 3,000 public and private businesses in the Triveneto region alone, spanning various industries.
