Online returns firm Happy Returns joins forces with PayPalHappy Returns, a leading provider of return and logistics solutions for retailers and their customers has announced joining forces with Paypal, to accelerate its growth and extend impact.

Founded in 2015, Happy Returns was built with the mission of making returns beautiful for shoppers, retailers, and the planet. The firm introduced box-free, in-person return drop off as a solution to avoid return goods becoming wasteful, expensive and cumbersome for people involved. The offering provided a better experience for shoppers while lowering the cost for merchants and made returns more sustainable for the planet.

Today, the box-free, in-person return process is considered a table stake in e-commerce. Happy Returns’ network includes more than 2,600 drop-off locations, in over 1,200 unique metro areas in every state in the continental U.S. (as well as Washington, DC).

Under the deal, Happy Returns will continue offering a best-in-class returns experience to retailers and shoppers. Its technology and platform will help extend PayPal’s commerce platform beyond discovery and payments to the post-purchase experience. With PayPal’s support, The company will focus on improving its platform and expand its footprint, all with the goal of providing more customers with the most seamless, cost-effective and environmentally friendly way to make and process returns.
