Wealth ManagementWealth Management is a branch of financial services dealing with the investment needs of affluent clients. These are specialised advisory services catering to the investment management needs of affluent clients. The plans are tailored to client-specific needs, the financial products are combined to effectively reach the financial goals of the client.

A professional service provided by wealth managers, including investment planning, accounting, tax planning, estate planning or retirement planning, portfolio and financial services management provided to business owners or a corporate for one set fee, is called wealth management.

Wealth managers may work individually as a single person or as part of a small-scale business or a larger firm. Based on the nature of the business, wealth managers may function under different titles, which include financial consultant or financial adviser. A client may receive services from a single designated wealth manager or may have access to a specified wealth management team member.

The following are 3 Wealth Management Companies of the European region:

UBS Global Wealth Management offers affluent individuals and institutions worldwide a comprehensive range of advice and investment services. They use combined expertise to help turn the client’s financial vision into a reality. With offices in over 45 markets on 5 continents, the size, strength and 150-year history help achieve global reach, while local knowledge means that they can offer a personal and bespoke service to meet all needs.

IBS Intelligence reported that UBS, Envestnet and iCapital Network announced a strategic relationship to deliver access to curated UBS and iCapital alternative investment products through Envestnet’s platform.

To power the initiative, Envestnet is also launching Alternatives Exchange, a new solution to provide these products to the firm’s clients, leveraging iCapital’s turnkey technology through single-sign-on access.

Credit Suisse’s strategy builds on its core strengths, the position as a leading wealth manager with strong global investment banking capabilities and a strong presence in their home market of Switzerland. They seek to follow a balanced approach while aiming to capitalise on the large pool of wealth within mature markets and the significant growth in wealth in the Asia Pacific and other emerging markets.

Recently, IBS Intelligence reported that Credit Suisse named Markus Ruetimann as the new global chief operating officer of Credit Suisse Asset Management. The Zurich bank turns to the ex-UBS and Schroders manager to help it recover from repeated crises.

Ruetimann will report to Ulrich Koerner, another former UBS executive named to lead asset management. The Swiss bank separated the business into its division following the implosion of around $10 billion of funds related to British supply chain financier Greensill.

BNP Paribas has a presence in 68 countries, with more than 193,000 employees, including nearly 148,000 in Europe. The Group supports all its customers’ individuals, associations, entrepreneurs, SMEs and institutions in their projects through its financing, investment, savings and protection solutions.

IBS Intelligence reported that InvestCloud, a global FinTech firm that designs and creates financial software for some of the most prestigious banks, wealth managers and asset managers in the world, has been selected by BNP Paribas Wealth Management to provide Client Relationship Management (CRM) and Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) services for onboarding and nurturing high-net-worth (HNWI) client relationships.

The partnership marks another significant accomplishment for InvestCloud, which continues to expand its global partnerships with a growing client base comprising leading international and regional firms such as BNP Paribas Wealth Management.
