Nexi expands its brand into the DACH region
By Gloria Methri
European PayTech Nexi Group has announced that it is expanding its brand into the DACH region. The payment service providers that are part of Nexi Group – Concardis, in Germany and Austria, and Nets, in Switzerland – will operate under the Nexi brand going forward.
Following the merger of Nexi, Nets, and SIA in 2022 to create an advanced and innovative European PayTech company, the rebranding is seen as the logical step forward to realise the Group’s strategy to be European by the scale and local by nature.
The aim of this rebrand is to further combine the strengths and deep local market knowledge of the individual companies with the benefits of being part of the PayTech in Europe under a unique brand.
As part of its ‘Payments and more’ offering, Nexi brings the Group’s strength to a range of payments stakeholders in the DACH region at attractive conditions. This includes merchants with brick-and-mortar and web shops, and service providers offering smart payments, including omnichannel and digital value-added services, as well as state-of-the-art issuing services for financial institutions.
For the merchants, service providers, and financial institutions that already rely on Nexi and its companies, nothing will change contractually. However, merchant customers and partners will increasingly benefit from the consolidated Nexi network across the entire payment value chain, both online and offline.
The company can count on more than 10,000 employees, whose expertise ranges across the entire ecosystem – from issuing to processing and acquiring to value-added services.
