United Credit Union and Eastex Credit Union select Access Digital to enhance digital banking
By Edlyn Cardoza
United Credit Union and Eastex Credit Union have partnered with Access Softek’s Access Digital to substantially improve their members’ omnichannel digital banking experience. Access Softek is a digital banking platform provider that has fully integrated with the credit unions’ CUnify™ core to provide their members with a modern user interface and experience that users expect while delivering functionality that allows the credit unions to compete with larger banks and FinTechs.
United Credit Union’s partnership with Access Softek stemmed from the credit union’s 2020 strategic planning goals when a pause in physical branch operations caused the need for more digital resources. United Credit Union will utilise Access Digital to offer its members a more digital-first, modern banking experience.
“We’re proud to offer solutions that can greatly benefit the members of both United Credit Union and Eastex Credit Union,” said Chris Doner, founder and CEO of Access Softek. “Both of these institutions pride themselves in placing member needs first and we are happy to play a part in helping them reach these goals.”
Access Softek’s platform integrates seamlessly with Eastex and United Credit Union’s CUnify™ core. With Access Digital, the financial institutions will provide members with a digital banking solution that enables members to access their financial data, track their financial health, and conduct financial transactions from wherever and whenever they are and however they want. The financial institutions will offer services competitive with, and even superior to, services provided by big banks and FinTech companies, which are increasingly competing with traditional financial institutions.
“At United Credit Union, we truly believe that if you choose to concentrate on the members’ needs then everything else will fall into place,” said Mason Talley, Programmer Analyst of United Credit Union. “Access Softek’s technology is an excellent asset to our credit union, because they offer everything our members need for simple, easily-accessible digital banking.”
Eastex Credit Union selected Access Softek’s platform after reviewing several options. Through this integration, they will offer members a unified solution with multiple, concise solutions. Eastex Credit Union and United Credit Unions are expected to go live with Access Digital by 2023.
“We ultimately chose Access Softek’s technology because of how cutting edge it is,” said Renee Will-Cain, Chief Member Service Officer at Eastex Credit Union. “The digital banking platform is able to check many boxes for us, and the knowledge and experience of the Access Softek team is like no other.”
